Preliminary sheet
This data-sheet is for the collection of basic information used to identify characteristics of the river and specifically, the river area where you will collect future data from for your river project.
There are also some questions regarding the field conditions during the survey, as they can affect your observations. However, no scores are provided for this information, as field conditions cannot be quantified.
Fill in the data for all the information you are able to gather; it may be only be possible to find some information so you may not have a completed preliminary sheet.
It is possible to insert drawings, pictures, films, and interviews when entering your data into your Book of the River. Please note that you need to register in order to enter the collected data.
Links to the Glossary are provided for most significant words. Furthermore you will find some background information in the “Library”.
Contact a school in your or another country in order to comment together on the situation of your rivers. Please look for a partner under “School List” or “Notice Board”.
