Start your own Book of the River

Upload your data, information, conclusions and any documents into your Book of the River to make them available for the whole internet community. 

Why to register and how to do it

Several documents developed for "Free your River" arr provided for you – teachers and students – on the public pages of this website (see Background Information and Get active!)

Hoiwever, to take full advantage of the project, you must register.

As registered member, you have your own  Book of the River. The Book of the River is your workspace. There you can:

• process data from your investigation of the river in an interactive checklist
• upload text and documents concerning your river project (e.g. diary, digital photos, articles, and so on)
• publish all your work on the WorldWideWeb
• come in contact with other members of "Free your river", communicate, and cooperate with them
• after completing of your project, you can export your book of the river as a PDF-file, e.g. for your students.

Members of "Free your river" are made up of learning groups in schools. The registration has to be done by a responsible teacher. To register, please go to  Books of the Rivers > Register for a new book. Please complete and submit your registration.

After registration, you will get a teacher-account and a students account (user name and password are sent to you by e-mail) for the login under Books of the Rivers > my Book. When you enter your book the first time, it is almost empty – its up to you to fill it.
